Job summary

BJC Medical Group’s Breast Care team in Creve Coeur is seeking a full-time Senior Medical Assistant. This outpatient role supports physicians with vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, injections and patient preparation. Sign-on bonus of $2,500 is available. 40-hour week, day shift, benefits eligible, with no calls, weekends or holidays.

Minimum 2–5 years of experience; CPR certification preferred; High School diploma or GED required. Located at Missouri Baptist Medical Center campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of experience as a medical assistant preferred.
• Proficiency in vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs and injections.
• Experience with charting and patient history documentation.

Responsibilities

• Clean, prepare and stock exam room supplies.
• Obtain vital signs and patient history; maintain chart accuracy.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care tests and injections.
• Triage calls and relay test results to providers.
• Assist providers by preparing patients for exams and procedures.
