Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a full-time Senior Medical Assistant for the Breast Care team in Creve Coeur, MO. Under physician supervision, you will perform clinical and administrative tasks, prepare patients for exams, take vital signs, and support procedures in an outpatient setting.

This role emphasizes reliability, accuracy in charting, phlebotomy and basic lab skills, with no on-call or weekend requirements. The position offers benefits, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-5 years of experience in medical assisting preferred.
• CPR certification (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and accurate charting in the medical record.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triage calls, relay test results to patients and provide information to providers.
• Assist provider by preparing patients for exams, procedures and treatments.
