Job summary

BJC Medical Group is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for its Primary Care site in Creve Coeur, MO. The MA will perform clinical tasks, obtain vitals and histories, and support physicians with injections, phlebotomy, EKGs and point-of-care testing.

This on-site, day-shift role offers 40 hours per week, no call or weekend work, and a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• No prior experience required.
• Cert/Reg in Area of Expertise may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks exam room supplies.
• Obtains vital signs and patient history; maintains charting.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triage calls and communicates results to patients and providers with proper terminology.
