Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a part-time position at our Lake Mary, FL location. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and coordinating care with physicians to build referral networks.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy preferred.
• Licensed PT or PT-TEMP required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Market to physicians and practices to build referral relationships.
• Participate in community events and educational lectures to extend clinical expertise.
• Adjust schedules to accommodate patient census and cross-center support.

Job Description

• Up to $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Up to $3000 Relocation Bonus
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Location: Sports Medicine and Rehab Lake Mary 100 Waymont Court Lake Mary, FL 32746
• May Travel to: AdventHealth Sports Med and Rehab Altamonte 711 E Altamonte Dr. Suite 200Altamonte Springs, FL 3270
• The anticipated minimum pay rate for this position is $35/hour.
• Documents and charges accurately, completely, and timely using measurable and objective terminology following standards of practice, insurance guidelines and department/hospital policy and
• procedures.
• Participates in marketing to physicians and physician practices to build referral relationships.
• Performs evaluations and re-evaluations using recommended techniques and standards. Participates in marketing to physicians/physician practices to build referral relationships.
• Supports consumer marketing and public awareness through participation in community events, educational lectures/speaking, and/or other extension of clinical expertise to the community.
• Adjusts and adapts to changes in patient census by altering working hours to assist in other centers and programs as approved and observed by the manager or director
