Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, KS is seeking an Occupational Therapist or Physical Therapist for our Outpatient Lymphedema Clinic. Dual certification in lymphedema and a specialty area (pelvic floor, oncology, or general OT/hand therapy) is preferred, with willingness to pursue additional certification.

The position is a 32-hour/week role, Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with flexible start/end times.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or Physical Therapy.
• Dual certification in lymphedema and at least one specialty area (pelvic floor, oncology, or general OT/hand therapy).
• Willingness to pursue additional specialty certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and re-evaluations using standard techniques.
• Create and adjust individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Document accurately in EMR and maintain timely records.
• Educate patients and caregivers including discharge recommendations.
• Discharge patients when maximum benefit is reached.
