Job summary

Community Medical Services is actively seeking a Nurse to administer medications in an outpatient setting. Under the Clinic Manager, you will monitor dosing, obtain vital signs, and maintain inventory while supporting providers in delivering safe, compassionate care to individuals beginning recovery.

The role emphasizes consistent scheduling, strong patient communication, and adherence to CMS policies. Travel to CMS sites and a valid license are required.

Qualifications

• Licensed LPN or RN in state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to travel to assigned CMS sites.
• Valid Driver License and clean driving record.
• Experience with substance use disorders preferred but not required.
• Demonstrates accuracy in medication administration and maintaining records.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as ordered by CMS providers.
• Monitor dosing and related medical symptoms.
• Obtain vital signs, blood specimens, and urine samples.
• Maintain accurate medication inventory records and logs.
• Deliver medications to external facilities as needed.
• Document medication errors and report adverse reactions per policy.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and complete EHR documentation.
