BMC Berkeley Medical Center is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic. The role includes administering medications, documenting vital signs, and supporting physicians and registered nurses in procedures.

The successful candidate will have an LPN license and BLS certification. The position requires strong teamwork in a busy outpatient environment and a commitment to patient comfort and safety.

Formación

• Current LPN license issued by the state where services will be provided or a multi-state LPN license through eNLC.
• Certification in Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.

Responsabilidades

• Provides direct nursing care to patients in an outpatient setting.
• Administers intramuscular, subcutaneous, and oral medications as ordered.
• Consults with Providers/Registered Nurse to guide care delivery.
• Obtains and records vital signs and pertinent health data for patient records.
• Assists Providers during examinations and procedures as assigned.
• Maintains cost-effective use of supplies to manage patient costs.
