STJ St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon, West Virginia, is seeking an LPN to provide direct nursing care in an outpatient clinic and to serve as the primary medical contact to screen patients.

Responsibilities include administering IM, subcutaneous and oral medications as ordered, documenting patient data, taking vital signs, assisting Providers and the RN, and supporting efficient clinic operations while upholding standards of care.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license issued by the state where services will be provided or multistate LPN license via eNLC.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire date.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct nursing care to outpatients.
• Administers medications (IM, subcutaneous, oral) as ordered.
• Documents patient data and vital signs; communicates with physician.
• Assists Providers and RN with examinations and procedures.
• Screens patients and coordinates with clinic staff to ensure smooth scheduling.
• Maintains cost-effective use of supplies and equipment.
• Provides emotional support to patients and families.
• Ensures chart availability and supports patient flow through the clinic.
