Job summary

Rogers Behavioral Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to serve as clinical and administrative resource in the outpatient clinic. The role coordinates patient access and clinic operations while performing nursing functions.

You will register patients, coordinate referrals, and assist providers with treatment planning within the scope of LPN licensure, ensuring accurate documentation in the electronic health record and compliance with state regulations and Rogers policies.

Qualifications

• Current Licensed Practical Nurse license in good standing required.
• CPR certification required.
• Outpatient or behavioral health experience preferred.
• Electronic health record experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and visitors.
• Register, schedule, and check patients in and out of appointments.
• Verify patient demographics, insurance, and required consents.
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments.
• Maintain medical records and ensure accurate EHR documentation.
• Administer medications and monitor for effects per policy.
• Educate patients regarding medications and clinic processes.
• Respond to crises and escalate urgent issues as needed.
