Inova Internal Medicine in Vienna, VA is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time day position, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, at 130 Park Street SE, Suite 200. The Inova system emphasizes safety, quality and patient experience in the DC metro region.

You will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, maintain records, participate in quality initiatives, and support team goals.

Qualifications

• Education: Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• 1 year of experience as an LPN or Medical Assistant
