Job summary

Inova Primary Care is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an outpatient setting in Purcellville, VA. This full-time evening role runs Monday–Friday, 7:45/8:00am–4:30pm, with responsibilities including direct patient care, charting, and collaboration with RN and team members.

Minimum qualifications include a Vocational / Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing, Virginia LPN license, and BLS certification. Preferred: 1 year of LPN or Medical Assistant experience.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: Vocational / TechnicalDiploma in Practical Nursing
• License: Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Inova Primary Care is looking for a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role will be full time evening position, Monday – Friday, 7:45/8:00am- 4:30pm
