Job summary

Inova Primary Care is seeking a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Falls Church, VA. This full-time day position supports our clinic operations with hours 8am-5pm Monday to Friday, plus Walk-In Clinic 7:30am-5:30pm and Saturday 8am-12pm; shifts rotate for open and closing coverage.

The LPN will provide direct patient care under RN supervision, maintain medical records, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical Diploma in Practical Nursing.
• Licensed Practical Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the direction and supervision of the RN.
• Maintains and reviews patient medical records, notes and physician orders while documenting all patient care activities in accordance with documentation standards.
• Participates on unit teams, work groups and/or committees.
• Participates in quality and performance improvement initiatives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Inova Primary Care is looking for a dedicated Outpatient Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the team. This role will be full time day position, the clinic is open Monday - Friday (8am-5pm) and the Walk In Clinic is open Monday - Friday (7:30am-5:30pm) and Saturday (8am-12pm). The clinical support team rotates different shifts, with opening shift starting at 7am and closing shift end at 6pm.
