Position Title: Outpatient Lab Specialist, Outpatient Pavilion

Purpose & Scope:

The major responsibility of this position is to facilitate patients who are sent to the Hospital for Outpatient Laboratory testing. This includes registration of patients and in-depth understanding of the various insurances and proper specimen collection.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Experience:

1. One year of healthcare/medical - phlebotomy experience is preferred.
2. Proficiency in typing is preferred.
3. Computer experience is preferred.
4. Hospital experience is preferred.
