Position Title: Sterile Processing Technician III, Outpatient Pavilion

Job Description Summary

Join a vital support team as a Central Sterile Processing Technician, where your attention to detail and commitment to safety ensure the well-being of patients and clinical staff daily. In this dynamic environment, you will be responsible for cleaning and decontaminating medical equipment and instruments, preparing sterile trays, operating sterilization equipment, and ensuring all items are ready for use. You will also maintain clean and organized department spaces, assist with deliveries, answer phones, and participate in training and in-service programs. Job Responsibilities
  • Clean and decontaminate medical equipment and instrumentation
  • Prepare sterile procedure trays and equipment
  • Operate steam, low-temperature sterilizers, and other sterilization equipment
  • Maintain sterile and clean storage and department areas
  • Answer phones and service doors
  • Deliver requested items
  • Complete required documentation for activities
  • Uphold organizational standards, mission, goals, and safety behaviors
  • Participate in staff training and in-service programs
  • Represent the CSP department professionally at all times
Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
  • Completion of an accredited Central Service Technician training course (preferred)
  • Four years of sterile processing experience (required)
  • Certification in central sterile processing (required)

Pay & Benefits: Compensation is commensurate with experience. Team members are eligible for benefits starting the first day of the month following hire, with a 30-day window to apply.
