Job summary

WellNow is seeking a Laboratory Review RN to analyze, review and report outpatient lab results under the direction of the Medical Director. The role involves communicating results to patients, coordinating with providers, and ensuring timely reporting across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, review and report on outpatient laboratory results.
• Monitor result queues and report delays in reporting or patient care.
• Communicate with patients regarding results or treatment changes with provider oversight.
• Call patients with results and send mail if patient cannot be reached by phone.
• Work with RNs to ensure timely review and reporting of results.
• Report communicable diseases to state health departments.
