Job summary

WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a Laboratory Review RN to oversee the timely review and communication of outpatient lab results to patients and providers. Under the direction of the Medical Director, Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement, the RN analyzes positive results and coordinates with clinicians to ensure appropriate treatment changes are implemented.

EDUCATION

• 2 or 4 year completion of an accredited nursing program

Required License Or Certification

• Licensed Registered Professional Nurse or Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree required.
• License is active in one of the following states: NY, IL, IN, MI, or PA

Mental And Visual Requirements

• Works in clean, smoke-free and well-lit spaces.
• Exposure to frequent deadlines/ must have ability to handle stress effectively, subject to frequent interruptions
• Must have good visual and hearing acuity.
• Must be able to utilize keyboard and view computer screens up to 90% of shift.
• Must be able to follow directions and work collaboratively with others.

Physical Activities And Requirements

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, grasp, handle or feel, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or bend, climb, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions of hands and/or wrists.
• Requires some physical work; lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 10 pounds.
