Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with a phlebotomy training program.
• 3 months of phlebotomy experience or clinical rotation completed.
• MLT/MT/CLS degree with phlebotomy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform venous and capillary collections and POC testing for all ages.
• Ensure accurate patient identification, specimen integrity and labeling.
• Train, educate and mentor new and existing staff; participate in projects.
• May attend Mayo Clinic phlebotomy training program if required.
