Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid phlebotomy certification from an approved agency.
• Phlebotomy experience and/or medical field experience preferred.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills and accurate documentation are required.
• Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quality blood samples using venous, capillary, arterial, and line collections.
• Respond rapidly to emergencies and collaborate with care teams.
• Identify patients accurately, label specimens, and arrange transportation.
• Assist with training of students and new employees; interact with staff and patients.
