Froedtert Health in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking a Pharmacy Technician Supervisor to coordinate daily operations of the pharmacy technician staff at the Froedtert Hospital location. You will guide technicians and assist the pharmacist in processing orders and monitoring drug therapy.

This role requires a high school diploma; preferred candidates have 3 years of technician experience and 1 year supervisory experience, with Wisconsin registration and CPhT or ExCPT certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a pharmacy technician preferred; 1 year formal supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensure: Application for Wisconsin registration as a Pharmacy Technician required by hire date; certification as a Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or ExCPT required within 6 months of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited pharmacy technician training program preferred.
• Exceptional customer service skills; proven ability to communicate with a diverse group; attention to detail; strong organizational and follow-up skills; proven leadership skills; experience with various computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily operations of the pharmacy technician staff at the assigned location.
• Provide guidance regarding technical and operational information to technicians and assist the pharmacist in processing medication orders and monitoring drug therapy.
• May procure, measure, compound, count, and deliver medications under supervision of a pharmacist.
