Job summary

Sterling St James Inc. in Arlington, TX is seeking a Medical Director (Infectious Disease, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine) to lead an outpatient facility with no night or weekend duties. You’ll join a fully staffed team focused on serving the local community.

The role requires an MD or DO with active license and board certification, plus DEA and Furnishing licenses. Expect a productive daily workflow with strong documentation and patient-care coordination.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO with an active, state-appropriate medical license.
• Valid DEA registration and Furnishing License.
• Outpatient primary care experience required.
• Ability to manage 14–18 patients daily in a supported environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and meet productivity standards.
• Oversee scheduling to minimize no-shows and meet benchmarks.
• Complete documentation the same day or within 72 hours, with correct billing codes.
• Deliver primary care for chronic and acute conditions and support urgent care needs.
• Supervise PAs/NPs and provide after-hours on-call coverage.
