Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Nurse Coordinator for outpatient programs in Louisville, KY. The role focuses on coordinating division activities, delivering initial outpatient nursing care, and guiding patient/family services from referral to enrollment.

The ideal candidate has a BSN, a current Kentucky RN license, at least four years of RN experience (preferably in a medical office) and supervisory experience. This is a full-time, on-site position with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Current Kentucky RN license is required.
• Four years’ RN experience; medical office setting preferred.
• Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Receive all new referrals for the division/program and coordinate with referring personnel.
• Schedule and organize clinics/evaluations with Director and other providers.
• Review and edit billings to outside agencies for accuracy.
• Review evaluations and update reminder lists for follow up.
• Coordinate services with allied health as necessary.
• Act as a liaison with community agencies and provide input in program planning.
• Request and schedule necessary therapy, educational evaluation and treatment times.
• Other duties as assigned.
