Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a Nurse Coordinator to oversee division/program activities and provide outpatient nursing care to patients and families. You will be the initial contact for referrals, manage scheduling, planning, and enrollment, and coordinate with medical personnel and agencies to ensure seamless patient care.

The role requires BSN, a Kentucky Nursing License, and at least four years of RN experience with supervisory responsibilities, in a setting aligned with hospital operations.

Qualifications

• BSN is required.
• Current Kentucky Nursing License is required.
• Four years of RN experience preferred, in a medical office setting.
• Supervisory experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for the division/program.
• Provide outpatient nursing care and patient/family services.
• Serve as the patient/family's initial contact with the program and handle referrals.
• Schedule and organize medical clinics/evaluations with the Director and providers.
• Review and edit billings to outside agencies for accuracy.
