Harris Health seeks an Outpatient Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive evaluation and upper-extremity rehabilitation in our outpatient clinics. You will develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with physicians and the rehab team to support functional recovery across diverse patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure in Texas.
• Current BLS certification, if required by the organization.
• Ability to evaluate and treat a diverse outpatient population.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized, evidence-based plans of care.
• Provide treatment for hand, wrist, elbow, and upper-extremity injuries or conditions.
• Address range of motion, strength, coordination, edema, pain, and functional use of the upper extremity.
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercise programs and activity modification.
• Collaborate with physicians and rehab staff to support coordinated patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support department productivity.
