Job summary

You will evaluate and discharge patients with upper extremity conditions, collaborating with physicians and therapists to deliver evidence-based care.

The role involves independent and team-based patient care across Northridge, Thousand Oaks, and Westlake Village locations, with emphasis on education, documentation, and compliant practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in OT from an accredited program and active California OT license.
• NBCOT certification and CPR/BLS certification are required.
• Strong communication with patients, families, and referring providers.
• Ability to work both independently and within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of upper extremity conditions (hand, wrist, elbow).
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans with clinicians.
• Deliver interventions including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Design, fabricate, and fit custom orthoses for upper extremity diagnoses.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and adaptive equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and proper billing codes.
• Adhere to HIPAA and state/federal regulations for OT practice.
• Collaborate with co-treating therapists and participate in team meetings.
