Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute, LLC is seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist specializing in hand and upper-extremity rehab at our Gurnee, IL location. You will evaluate, treat, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to restore function for a diverse patient population.

Requirements include an Illinois license and recent outpatient hand therapy experience; familiarity with orthotics, documentation, and patient education is essential.

Qualifications

• Outpatient hand therapy experience required.
• Illinois licensed occupational therapist.
• Experience with custom orthotics/splinting preferred.
• Ability to multitask and be a team player.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with physicians.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial evaluations and establishes treatment plans with functional goals.
• Fabricates or dispenses upper-extremity orthotics as needed.
• Completes and submits accurate progress and discharge documentation.
• Maintains regular communication with physicians and the care team.
