Job summary

Illinois Bone and Joint Institute (IBJI) is seeking a Part-Time Occupational Therapist with Hand Therapy experience to join our orthopedic clinic at the St. Joseph - Surf location.

This role focuses on upper-extremity rehabilitation within an integrated care team including physicians, therapists, and technicians. The ideal candidate has outpatient hand therapy experience, is Illinois-licensed, and comfortable fabricating orthotics.

Qualifications

• Previous Out-Patient Hand Therapy experience.
• Experience with custom orthotics/splinting.
• CHT preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performs initial evaluations and establishes treatment plans for upper extremity conditions.
• Implements individualized treatment programs and exercises.
• Fabricates and dispenses upper-extremity orthotics as needed.
• Completes documentation (Initial Evaluation, Progress Summary, Discharge Summary).
• Collaborates with physicians and therapists to optimize patient outcomes.
