USPI Odessa Endoscopy Center in Odessa, Texas seeks a Registered Nurse to join our outpatient gastroenterology team. The role covers preoperative, intraoperative and postoperative nursing care with a weekday schedule only, no holidays or weekends, or on-call duties.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 1–3 years' prior experience preferred.
• Ambulatory Surgical Center experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ALS and PALS.
• Solid knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties per Nursing Practice Act and facility policies.
• Apply nursing theory and practices to care for patients across preop, intraop, and postop phases.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Assist physicians and staff, providing thorough status reports during procedures.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
