Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. seeks a motivated Registered Nurse for our Hill Country Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role involves working in 1 OR room and 3 Procedure rooms, with outpatient GI procedures.

Position is weekdays only, with possible early morning or late shift variations; no holidays, weekends, or on-call requirements. The RN will provide comprehensive patient assessment, ensure safety and quality, and collaborate with physicians and staff to support efficient

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Three years' experience in surgery.
• Current state RN License.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS required.
• CNOR preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of OR policies and pediatric-adult-geriatric care.

Responsibilities

• Determines data collection based on the patient's condition or needs related to proposed interventions.
• Addresses physiological, psychological, socio-cultural and spiritual needs of the patient.
• Prioritizes tasks with flexibility as priorities change.
• Demonstrates a can-do attitude and accurate, complete work.
• Follows AORN standards and functions as a team member.
• Completes initial and annual competencies and maintains licenses.
