Job summary

Aptive is seeking a full-time Staff Gastroenterologist for the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. This role offers a supportive environment to care for Veterans, with a predictable weekday schedule, no ERCP requirements, and comprehensive benefits, including competitive pay ranging from $380,000 to $400,000.

The position is outpatient-focused, featuring one dedicated procedure day per week, allowing for a balanced work schedule without the pressures of traditional production-based systems. Applicants must hold an active medical license and complete an ACGME-accredited fellowship.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active, unrestricted medical license in any U.S. state.
• DEA eligibility required.
• BLS required; ACLS may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform GI evaluations and consultations for Veterans.
• Diagnose and treat gastrointestinal diseases.
• Collaborate with nursing staff for efficient patient care.
