Job summary

Orlando Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) in Melbourne, Florida for a full-time position. The APP diagnoses and treats acute or chronic illness with a focus on health promotion and disease prevention, practicing with high independence.

Required: MN/MSN/DNP/PhD/DNS for nursing or PA program completion, FL APRN/PA licensure, national certs, and BLS. Specialty experience preferred and ongoing professional collaboration across care teams.

Qualifications

• MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing.
• Graduate of accredited physician assistant program.
• APRN license in the state of Florida.
• National advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
• Maintains current BLS certification.
• Maintain current Physician Assistant licensure in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Acts as an advanced resource for specialty area in clinic setting.
• Performs complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with appropriate treatment planning.
• Operates with independence in patient care with minimal physician supervision.
• Collaborates with other healthcare disciplines to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Participates in rounds, triages patients, and documents care in the medical record.
