Job summary

Orlando Health ORMC seeks an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for inpatient medicine. You will manage and co‑manage complex medical and surgical patients under physician supervision, using evidence‑based practice guidelines.

Expect collaboration across interdisciplinary teams, teaching responsibilities, and involvement in quality initiatives. The role requires Florida APRN/PA licensure with national certification, BLS, and a minimum of three years in an advanced practice setting.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner: MN/MSN/DNP/PhD/DNS degree in nursing.
• Physician Assistant: graduate of accredited PA program.
• Licensure/Certification: Florida APRN license with national advanced certification and current BLS.
• Experience: 3 years of Advanced Practice Provider experience; specialty experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides inpatient management, consultation, and co‑management of medical and surgical patients.
• Assesses patients via interview, history, exam, and diagnostics; collaborates with interdisciplinary team to plan treatment.
• Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as credentialed and prescribes treatments.
• Teaches students, residents, and interns in complex techniques and procedures.
• Initiates treatment plans based on labs, exams, and follow‑up studies.

Education

MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing

Graduate of accredited physician assistant program
