Bayfront Health St. Petersburg, part of Orlando Health, invites applications for an Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP/PA) in the Internal GI group.

This inpatient role emphasizes independent clinical decision-making, complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and collaboration with physicians to ensure high-quality patient care. The position requires NP or PA certification, current Florida licensure, BLS, and at least 3 years of APP experience.

Qualifications

• Nurse Practitioner: MN, MSN, DNP, PhD or DNS in nursing.
• Physician Assistant: graduate of accredited PA program.

Responsibilities

• Acts as an advanced resource for specialty area or lead worker in clinic setting.
• Performs complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and prescribes necessary treatment and services for patient care.
• Operates with a high degree of independence in patient care in a highly specialized area.
• Assists in teaching students, residents and interns in complex techniques and procedures.
• Uses advanced clinical knowledge to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care across the continuum.
• Triages patients and participates in daily multidisciplinary rounds.
