Grace Cottage Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Registrar/Receptionist to greet patients and manage intake at the Grace Cottage Hospital and Family Health Outpatient Services. You will verify demographics and insurance information, collect consents, and route calls and visitors in a friendly, efficient manner.

The role requires a high school diploma and proficient computer skills, with preferred experience in a clinical setting or scheduling software.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Proficient computer skills are required.
• Experience in a clinical setting and/or scheduling software experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare insurance is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect demographic and insurance information.
• Obtain consents and necessary documents.
• Request and collect insurance cards and photo IDs and scan into the system.
• Use phone and computer systems, scanners, and printers effectively.
• Assist patients with administrative processes.
• Collect copays and/or payments and provide receipts.
