bioMérieux seeks an Outpatient Specialist to grow the customer base and drive adoption of BIOFIRE products in a defined US region. You will manage direct sales and distribution channels, targeting outpatient clinics, with a focus on instruments, reagents, and services.

The role emphasizes quota attainment, relationship building with healthcare providers and distributors, and cross-functional collaboration to support launches and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 2+ years in sales, customer-facing support, or related roles within IVD/healthcare.
• In lieu of degree, 4 years of related experience accepted.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective sales call management, opportunity management, pipeline management and forecast accuracy.
• Identify and establish relationships with key customers and opinion leaders within defined territory.
• Establish and maintain relationships with distribution partners to support opportunities and closes.
• Assess, clarify, validate, and quantify customer needs on an ongoing basis.
• Identify high value targets and develop strategies to close new business in assigned accounts.
• Maintain existing customer business to minimize lost business.
• Work in a matrix team and with colleagues to advance opportunities.
• Serve as liaison between Outpatient market and Marketing; share insights and participate in launches.
