Job summary

BioMerieux Inc. is seeking an Outpatient Specialist to drive adoption of the BIOFIRE product line across outpatient clinics within the assigned territory.

The role includes selling instruments, reagents, and services through direct sales and distribution partners to meet quarterly revenue targets. The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years in IVD, medical devices, or healthcare sales, with strong relationship-building and pipeline management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 2 years of related professional experience in IVD/medical devices or healthcare.
• In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 6 years of related experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver effective sales call management, opportunity management, pipeline management and forecast accuracy.
• Identify and establish relationships with key customers and opinion leaders in the territory.
• Establish and maintain relationships with distribution partners to support opportunities and closes.
• Assess and quantify customer needs on an ongoing basis.
• Develop strategies to close new business with high-value targets in the territory.
• Maintain existing customer business and minimize lost business.
• Collaborate within a matrix team to advance opportunities and closes.
• Serve as liaison between Outpatient market and Marketing; share competitive intel.
