Job summary

UPMC Central Pa is seeking an Adult Endocrinologist to join a growing outpatient-focused endocrinology team serving South Central Pennsylvania. You will diagnose and manage a broad range of endocrine disorders and provide consultative support to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.

The role involves diabetes management with advanced technologies (insulin pumps, CGM), thyroid services expansion with ultrasound and biopsy capabilities, and opportunities for involvement in future

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship.
• Eligible for medical licensure in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting.
• Providing consultative support to the inpatient endocrine team.
• Care for patients with diabetes using advanced technologies (insulin pumps, CGM).
• Developing and expanding Thyroid services including office ultrasound and biopsy procedures.
• Collaborating with infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Supporting osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives.
• Contributing to clinical research opportunities and program development.
