Job summary

UPMC Central Pa in South Central Pennsylvania seeks an adult endocrinologist to join a growing team providing comprehensive outpatient endocrinology care. You will diagnose and manage disorders, support inpatient teams, and care for diabetes with insulin pumps and CGM.

The role also expands thyroid ultrasound/biopsy services and opportunities for clinical research, with strong retirement and education benefits in a PSLF-eligible system.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.
• Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting.
• Provide consultative support to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.
• Care for patients with diabetes using pumps and CGM devices.
• Develop and expand thyroid services including office ultrasound and biopsy.
• Collaborate with infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Support osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives.
• Contribute to future clinical research opportunities.
