Job summary

UPMC Central Pa is seeking an Adult Endocrinologist to join a comprehensive outpatient program in South Central Pennsylvania. The role focuses on diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and menopause management, with access to advanced thyroid ultrasound, CGM, and insulin pumps.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting.
• Providing consultative support to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team.
• Caring for patients with diabetes using insulin pumps and CGM devices.
• Developing and expanding advanced thyroid services, including office ultrasound and biopsy procedures.
• Collaborating with a dedicated infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment.
• Supporting osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives.
• Contributing to future clinical research opportunities and program development.
