Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level RN for the Outpatient RN CAP 1 designation. You will participate in the Clinical Advancement Program, coordinate care for an assigned group of patients, and work with a team including RNs and Patient Care Technicians to ensure high-quality hemodialysis treatment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing data collection and analysis during hemodialysis and document in the medical record.
• Direct daily delivery of safe and effective hemodialysis therapy with the care team.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Provide patient and family education and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team.
• Assist with emergency response measures as needed.
