Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Indiana is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide dialysis care, coordinate patient management, and support education for patients and families within a clinical advancement program.

The role requires RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and adherence to state practice requirements. Training and support are provided in a health-care facility setting with teamwork across the care team.

Qualifications

• Entry-level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients during dialysis.
• Assess, plan, implement and document patient care in the medical record.
• Administer medications as prescribed and monitor effectiveness.
• Educate patients and families and participate in team decisions and quality improvement.
• Travel to training sites or other facilities as needed.
