Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in South Carolina is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse in the Outpatient CAP 1 program to support the End Stage Kidney Disease care team. You will assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for an assigned group of patients, coordinating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians to ensure quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include safe delivery of hemodialysis, medication administration, documentation, and patient/family education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing care for an assigned patient group under supervision.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during hemodialysis and documents in the medical record.
• Educates patients and families on care plans and treatment modalities.
• Delivers safe hemodialysis and administers prescribed medications.
• Coordinates with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians for daily care.
