Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP1 designation. This role provides and coordinates clinically competent care for an assigned patient group, including assessments, planning, interventions, and evaluation during dialysis care.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease team, you will contribute to teaching, leadership, and quality improvement, while collaborating with RNs, LPNs/LVNs and Patient Care Technicians to ensure safe, effective dialysis

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for assigned patients during dialysis.
• Assess and document patient data, adjust care plans as needed, and notify supervisors when appropriate.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and disease options.
• Direct and collaborate with care staff to deliver safe dialysis therapy.
