Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Edison, NJ is seeking an Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) for the Dialysis CAP2 program. You will provide and coordinate dialysis care, document patient data, and adjust treatment plans under supervision while mentoring staff as needed.

Requirements include RN licensure, CPR/BLS, and dialysis experience; entry to CAP2 is possible with related nephrology background. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN license.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as an RN.
• Entry level RN with nephrology nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Document data in the patient record and adjust treatment plans as indicated.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and modalities.
• Lead and mentor other staff as a team leader or nurse in charge.
