Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry level Registered Nurse in the Outpatient CAP program to deliver high-quality care for dialysis patients. You will assist with assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation under supervision, coordinating with RNs, LVNs/LPNs and technicians.

The role emphasizes patient education, charting, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes in an outpatient setting. CAP requirements to advance are part of the progression.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with up to 2 years Nephrology Nursing experience.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Administer medications as prescribed and document effectiveness.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safe and effective hemodialysis therapy.
