Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care (Schweiz) AG is seeking an entry-level Outpatient Registered Nurse (RN) in Lowell, MA. The role includes 12 weeks of paid, structured training with a dedicated Preceptor and Nurse Educator, enabling you to competently assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care during hemodialysis.

The position requires fulfillment of CAP requirements, current state RN licensure, and CPR/BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• Current CPR/BLS Certification.
• Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of nephrology nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient data collection and documents in medical records during/after hemodialysis.
• Collaborates with team to implement and adjust care plans.
• Provides initial and ongoing patient/family education.
• Delivers safe and effective hemodialysis therapy and handles medications as prescribed.
• Mentors/coordinates with PCTs/LPNs/LVNs/RNs as assigned.
