Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Lowell, MA seeks an entry level professional Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Services CAP1 track. You will participate in patient data collection, treatment planning, and education, coordinating with RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and technicians to ensure quality outcomes.

The role requires a nursing degree and active state licensure, with CPR/BLS certification, and eligibility to work in applicable states.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state licensure.
• Current or successful CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in all states in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Performs all essential functions under the direction of the Supervisor and with guidance from Educator, Preceptor or other RN.
• Collects and analyzes patient data pre–during–post treatment and documents in medical records; adjusts treatment plan as indicated.
• Provides patient/family education on basic learning needs and ongoing care.
• Directs safe, effective patient care for assigned patients as prescribed for all modality procedures.
• Coordinates communication with dialysis providers and facility staff for continuity of care.
