Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP program in Massachusetts. You will participate in the clinical advancement program, coordinate patient care, and support the dialysis team including RNs, LVNs/LPNs and patient care technicians.

You will perform nursing assessments, adjust care plans as needed, and contribute to education for patients and families. A state license and CPR/BLS are required, with 12-week paid training available.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years in Nephrology Nursing.
• Chronic/acute hemodialysis experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs nursing assessments and analyses of patient data.
• Delivers and coordinates hemodialysis therapy.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and treatment options.
• Administers medications as prescribed or per approved algorithms.
• Participates in staff training and patient safety initiatives.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

Current appropriate state licensure.

Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
