Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Colorado is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 program. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate for an assigned group of patients, collaborating with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians.

As part of the End Stage Kidney Disease health care team, you will participate in decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities that enhance patient care outcomes

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and active state licensure.
• Current BLS/CPR certification; compliance with nursing standards.
• Entry-level RN with CAP-1 eligibility in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Perform duties under supervision with guidance from the Clinical Educator/Preceptor.
• Collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians to ensure safe HD therapy.
• Document data collection, treatment plans and modifications in medical records.
• Participate in patient education and quality improvement activities.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
