Job summary

Qualifications

• RN with entry-level status; less than 2 years nephrology nursing experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and current licensure
• CPR/BLS certification current
• Must meet state practice requirements where employed

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate clinically competent nursing care
• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care for assigned dialysis patients
• Document patient data and updates in medical records
• Collaborate with RNs, LVN/LPNs and Patient Care Technicians
• Administer medications as prescribed and follow approved algorithms
• Support education for patients and families and participate in CAP requirements
