The role involves assisting with pre-authorizations (excluding surgical procedures), collecting payments, and coordinating with physicians and staff to maintain accurate records and patient satisfaction.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills with strong customer service abilities.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, database and internet applications; light, accurate keyboarding.

Responsabilidades

• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Provides reception assistance and screens callers; schedules routine appointments and follow-ups.
• Gathers and verifies patient demographics and insurance information.
• Collects co-pays and scans documents for intake; maintains records and confidentiality.
• May assist, guide or train staff on intake-related duties.
